The Cake & Bake Show, brings together GBBO winner, Candice Brown and finalists Jane Beedle and Andrew Smyth, alongside fellow contestants from the current series. Also appearing will be the 2015 champion Nadiya Hussain plus former GBBO winners, and top culinary celebrities and experts for the biggest baking extravaganza the nation has ever seen.

Candice and her fellow contestants will be demonstrating their newly-famous baking skills at the Cake & Bake Super Theatre, with household favourites and show regulars Rosemary Shrager and Eric Lanlard and former GBBO winners John Whaite and Jo Wheatley.

The Cake & Bake Show, in association with Argos will showcase a delicious array of culinary activity and visitors will find inspiration and advice in the Baking & Decorating Classroom where some of the most respected experts in the baking and decorating world will be sharing their skills, including Danielle Gotheridge, Charlotte White, Juliet Sear and more!

An all new feature for Manchester, in conjunction with Penguin Random House, will be a celebration of the 150th birthday of Beatrix Potter created by The Sugar Chronicles, a group of award-winning cake and sugar artists who have come together for the first time. Visitors will be able to stroll through Mr McGregor’s garden, past the neat rows of vegetables, through the gate toward a magic walk through the iconic world of Peter Rabbit, Jemima Puddle-Duck, Mrs Tiggy Winkle, Jeremy Fisher and the naughty fox, Mr Tod. Children will be able to make their own sugar models of vegetables and even have the opportunity to add them to the display.

Another ‘not to miss’ is the installation of Roald Dahl’s much loved and ‘gloriumptious’ BFG, created by world record-holding sugar artist, Jacqui Kelly and supported by Cake Decoration and Sugarcraft Magazine, who can be found peering through a life sized window.

When not learning new skills, or being inspired by the installations and awe-inspiring Cake Competition displays, visitors can head to the bustling Exhibition and Market Stands for baking and decorating innovations from leading experts, as well as an array of delectable foods from the finest artisan bakers and producers in the country.
