About this Bake
My mum loves soda bread, cheese, apples and walnuts, so what better than to combine the lot! It’s now one of her favourites!
Top tip
Add a little extra bicarbonate of soda - the recipe originally said 2 tsp, but I found 3 tsp makes it rise well without tasting bitter. Also proper buttermilk gives a better result than using a substitute!
