About this Bake

The base is layered with soft filo pastry and lined with roasted walnuts mixed with cinnamon and syrup. It is topped with a cheesecake mixture of ricotta, mascarpone and sour cream laced with orange peel.

Top tip

Ensure that you bake the filo base first at 170 degrees for 25 mins. This will ensure that the filo doesn't go soggy and is not chewy. The syrup and walnuts should be mixed with the cinnamon and can be prepared the night before. Ensure that the walnut and syrup layer at the base is about 2cm.
