This cake is a vanilla Madeira filled with homemade raspberry jam and creamy buttercream. Crumb coated with buttercream before covering in fondant and decorated with all things edible.
Top tip
Always make sure that the buttercream coating is set for at least an hour in the fridge before covering in fondant to ensure a smooth finish.
