About this Bake
This is a vanilla sponge with a jam and buttercream filling. I used a sheet cake and cut out a basic template for the camera shape. The buttons and switches are made from the fondant. If you give the small fondant parts a bit of time to firm up, you will get a sharper finish.
Top tip
After you have crumb coated your cake, pop it in the fridge for a while. This firms the cake and buttercream to give support when putting the fondant on.
