About this Bake

My sister requested these salted caramel, chocolate and pretzel macarons and they were so good! I never would have added pretzel to the top if she hadn't asked, but it turns out that it is the perfect crunch to add to a macaron!

Top tip

Age your egg whites starting a day before and just take them out a couple of hours before you bake to bring them to room temperature. This makes getting the meringue portion just right and not as temperamental!
