About this Bake

Almonds, eggs separated, beat electric beater egg yolks and sugar until pale, add zests, almond extract, and almonds, mix well, use a clean whisk to beat egg whites until peaked, fold in well, pour into greased 11" tin, bake in preheated oven for 40 mins. Cool.

Top tip

Make sure you fold the egg whites into the mix well as it is quite thick. Ingredients: 8ozs ground almonds, 6 large eggs,1 1/4 caster sugar,zest of 1 lemon/orange, 4 drops almond extract, icing sugar for dusting.
