About this Bake
I made this cake for my mum's 80th birthday. We hired a big house and had a family get-together and of course we couldn’t leave her precious dog behind, so it had to be dog-friendly accommodation. She still has the top of the cake 18 months later!
Top tip
Allow twice the amount of time you think you will need to complete the bake, it always takes longer than you think!
