After enjoying a laugh at your hedgehog cakes, my daughter and I decided to have a go at one for my husband Simon’s birthday during lockdown.
Top tip
Evenly space the chocolate finger biscuits. Make eyes with sugar paste. Keep cool so spines don’t wilt and move! Use an electric carving knife to shape the sponge.
