About this Bake
Cornish Fairings are a traditional Cornish biscuit baked with a mix of ginger and allspice (quite hot!), with sugar and golden syrup. They have a distinct cracking on the top, and are a lovely alternative to a ginger nut.
Top tip
Leave them in the cooling oven to dry out enough- you want a mix of crunch and chewiness, but not so dried out they break your teeth.
