About this Bake

A classic fruitcake with glacé cherries, currants, raisins, small walnut chunks, and brandy, and covered in a layer of marzipan, then a layer of white fondant. I did Christmas tree cut-outs around the edges.

Top tip

Steep the fruit overnight in brandy so they take in more flavour, so the cake is tastier later.
