This recipe does not use any flour; I thought this unusual at first but it has risen extremely well!

Top tip

Mix 4 eggs and caster sugar. Add the dry ingredients: wheaten corn flour, custard powder, cream of tartar, bicarbonate of soda. And bake in two tins.
