About this Bake

I made this cake with my daughter, Lizzie, to celebrate my parents' diamond wedding anniversary. My parents live in Poole and love to sit at the top of the cliffs and watch the beach. The cake is Madeira and lemon Madeira sponges, with a surprise hidden in the bottom tier!
