About this Bake

This is a round lemon madeira cake covered with icing in the shape of a plate. Everything on the plate is made from marzipan except for the 'crackling' which is wine gums covered in sugar, the 'sprouts' are marzipan rolled in coconut coloured with green food colouring.

Top tip

If you put marzipan under the grill for a few seconds, it browns like a real roast potato!
