About this Bake
This is a witchy themed cake I made for my birthday this year, complete with edible decorations, including a witch's hat, broomstick, potions bottle, candle, spell book, wand, crystal ball and even a little black cat!
Top tip
Make sure you get a good frosting finish on your cake before applying the fondant layer. The cake is a simple Victoria sponge made with a jam and buttercream filling, and it tasted delicious!
