Love, love, love Extra Slice - it's the highlight of our week! My daughter Grace turned 14 recently so I baked her a cake in honour of her favourite sweets. It's a Victoria sponge with chocolate buttercream 'mud' filling and secret section of piglet sweets in the middle.
Top tip
Always add some flour with the eggs when making a Victoria sponge as it helps to stop the mixture splitting or curdling!
