I made these after watching the spice week bakes - the Ma'amoul are tasty but need some refinement. The sticky date filling coupled with a crumbly short crust pastry would make a delicious Christmas biscuit...
Top tip
These don't need a lot of rose water - it's very easy to add too much (I've learnt from experience)!
