About this Bake
Ella found a picture she wanted to use for her birthday cake. I baked a two-tier cake for her and put the buttercream skim coat on. The bottom tier was a brownie and the top tier was vanilla cake with chocolate. Anthony (my husband, Ella's father) decorated the cake with fondant and food colouring.
Top tip
Roll out your fondant double the size you think you need it to be. There is nothing worse than trying to take off fondant once it is on the buttercream skim coat.
