About this Bake
This is a celebration cake I made for a friend. It's classic vanilla sponge with strawberry jam and vanilla buttercream. I decorated this with fondant icing and flowers I made myself.
Top tip
Bake on a lower temperature so the cake doesn't rise too quickly. This will give you a nice even finish instead of a hump!
