About this Bake

I made this for my mum's 50th birthday, I zested and juiced 2 oranges and used caster sugar. I made orange butter cream. I used fondant to decorate it along with edible paint. I was careful when it came to the decorations, they had a habit of breaking.

Top tip

I weight everything, including the eggs. Weighting is vital and keep watch but DON'T open the oven! Be patient.
