About this Bake
Made for my niece's 8th birthday. It is built on a structure I made myself. The whole head is edible and carved chocolate cake covered with ganache. I used 4 layers. The whiskers are dried spaghetti dipped in coloured chocolate.
Top tip
When covering 3D or sculpted cakes it's better to use a 50/50 mix of sugarpaste and modelling chocolate as it is easier to blend and fix cracks when on the cake.
