About this Bake
This is a red velvet and chocolate cake that my brother Mitesh and I baked for Halloween. It has three layers with a crisped rice cereal moon covered in white fondant and tea biscuit gravestones. The ghosts are made from fondant and the chocolate soil is ground biscuits.
Top tip
Use gel food colouring when making a red velvet cake. The blood-red drip ganache uses double cream, white chocolate and natural red food colouring!
