About this Bake
I made this cake the first time for my children's Christening twenty years ago. I decided to re-create it for the First Bakewell Baking Festival last year but then didn't have the confidence to enter - so we ate it at home!
Top tip
Leave plenty of time for basket weave lids to dry.
