About this Bake
Despite being a keen baker for over a decade, this was the first time I had attempted anything of this size! Since making it friends have asked me to make other celebration cakes for them, which is really helping me to extend and develop my skills!
Top tip
Along with books, use the internet! There's an enormous amount of 'how to' videos on YouTube which can help the total beginner (like I was!) right the way through to the seasoned professional. Great free resource for all us budding bakers!
