About this Bake
This was my niece's 3rd Birthday Cake. It's chocolate sponge with chocolate buttercream layers, covered with fondant icing.
Top tip
I rolled out the fondant icing on to a sheet of greaseproof paper so it wouldn't stick to the kitchen work top. To achieve the shape I cut out ear and nose shapes from a circular cake and added to a round cake.
