Top tip

For ultimate success, you should purchase the copper tins (don’t waste your money on silicone moulds) for these delectable Bordeaux treats. Prep time is no more than 15 minutes, but the batter should “cure” in the fridge for 24-48 hours for an intense vanilla/rum flavour.
