About this Bake
This orange, elderflower and passion fruit cake was baked for my friend because of her love for fruity and floral flavours. The mix of the orange with the hint of subtle elderflower created a harmonic balance of flavours and the passion fruit brought an acidic crunch. It was a lovely summer bake!
Top tip
Make sure to put lots of elderflower in the buttercream to really amplify the flavour, and don’t overbake the cake!
