About this Bake
I'm 16, and it was my dad's 60th birthday recently, so I decided to make him a birthday cake! The cake is coffee and chocolate chequerboard inside, with chocolate buttercream and chocolate shards that I made myself. I'm quite happy with how it turned out!
Top tip
Use a palette knife when spreading buttercream on the sides of the cake to keep it nice and even!
