About this Bake
I made this cake for my friend Paula's 50th birthday. A 5 layer rich chocolate cake with buttercream and raspberry jam. The chips were sugar cookies, the peas were fondant and a chocolate ganache gravy. I used edible powder colours, which were dry brushed onto the cake and "chips".
Top tip
I make my chocolate cake with equal quantities of light soft brown and light muscovado sugars for extra flavour, richness and moisture.
