About this Bake
I made this cake for the first time. It is an ad hoc invention and a hybrid of two classic German cakes: marmorkuchen and versunkener apfelkuchen.
Top tip
I used three small apples from our garden, baked it for 40 minutes and it turned out a bit dry, so, next time, I would put more apples in and maybe take it out a bit earlier.
