About this Bake
They started off as butterfly cakes, but we didn’t have any cream to make the wings stand up, so I made them smaller and they looked like cat's ears. I called them 'Sour Puss' because I used lemon curd and 'Jelly Cat' as I used raspberry jam.
Top tip
Always bake extra cakes when baking for a cake stall so you can eat some. Always bake cakes ready for watching Bake Off and An Extra Slice as it makes you hungry.
