Audience Choice Week

Audience choice
As part of the next series of The Great British Bake Off (the “Programme”), we are inviting you to submit your ideas for challenges that may be selected to form part of our ‘Audience Choice’ Week. You are welcome to send submissions for one, two or all three challenges.

Your submission is not part of a competition and there will be no prizes offered for the chosen submission – just a chance to see your ideas on the show come to life! We only need a brief headline and short description, so no need for recipes or detailed instructions.

We can’t wait to hear your ideas!

Fill out your submission form sooner rather than later, and by no later than 1pm on Sunday 18th January 2026 (the “Deadline”). Please note that if selected, Love Productions will have absolute ownership of the challenge as it appears in the Programme, but you will retain ownership of the underlying idea behind the challenge itself.

If you are under 18, you are welcome to send in your ideas, but please provide the contact details of your parent or guardian.

We cannot accept submissions if you have applied for Series 17, or have participated in any previous series.

Conditions

  • The challenge ideas will be chosen by the Great British Bake Off team and judges. There is no guarantee that any challenge idea will be selected or be identified or that the Audience theme will be part of the Programme. The selection of any challenge idea and/ or the whether you are identified in the Programme is at our absolute discretion.
  • The challenge ideas will be further developed by the Bake Off team and judges, and Love reserves the right to determine all challenge parameters and rules.
  • Please note that due to the nature of the subject matter and preparation and filming process, there is some likelihood that your submitted idea may be similar to or the same as challenges that we are already working on, other challenge ideas being submitted by third parties or other ideas or challenges already being featured in the upcoming series(s).
  • By submitting to us a challenge idea, you confirm that you have not applied to series 17 of the Great British Bake Off and have not participated in any previous series. Please note that submissions from employees or contractors of Love Productions and Channel 4 (or their affiliates) cannot be accepted.
  • By submitting to us a challenge idea, you grant us a royalty free, all media licence to include it in the Programme in accordance with the Terms & Conditions. You also grant us the right to be identified in the Programme, and/ or contact you for further information in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
  • Please note: If we choose your idea and decide to identify you by name, we will contact you by email to request permission and may ask you to sign a release form or appear in the programme. However, due to the high volume of submissions and the possibility of similar ideas being sent by multiple people, we cannot acknowledge everyone. As a result, we may not identify all individuals who submitted similar ideas in the programme or related content.
  • Love Productions reserves the right to make changes to these conditions and/or the Deadline at any time.
