About this Bake
This is my adaptation of the recipe in the showstoppers book - as I am not a great fan of the taste of honey I used maple syrup in place of it - this give the topping a slightly sweeter more caramel taste.
Top tip
Use a timer for every stage of a bake. Use an oven thermometer to ensure that the oven is at the correct temperature.
