About this Bake
I made this cake for my birthday to share with my British and South African friends and they loved it. It's a classic Argentinean cake that has layers of crispy dough, dulce de leche and Italian meringue.
Top tip
One of my tips is to make the 'neutral dough' a bit salty to contrast with the sweetness. It's even better eaten a day after.
