About this Bake
The cake was requested by my 2 year old daughter for her upcoming birthday after she had seen one in a cake shop. The sponge is light chocolate one and I used a delicious dulce de leche buttercream in between. Decorations are made from sugar paste and edible.
Top tip
As I was making the cake for my daughter's birthday in late July, I left the 'baking' for the evenings when it was cooler and decorating with fondant and sugar paste in the early hours.
