About this Bake
I baked this for my nan's 70th birthday party. It's a Mary Berry recipe lemon cake with my own adaptions. It's sandwiched with lemon mascarpone cream and some lemon curd, and decorated with more lemon mascarpone, vanilla butter cream and candied lemon.
Top tip
Take your time and be as patient as you can. Cake decorating isn't easy at first, so if you're a beginner like me, start of with simpler decorations and designs. Less is more!
