About this Bake
My 14-year-old daughter, Belle, made a chocolate and coffee sponge with a chocolate Swiss meringue buttercream and honeycomb chunks. She created ridges with leftover sponge from carving the cake to make it round, and combined it with leftover buttercream.
Top tip
Cooling the cake makes it easier to carve.
