About this Bake
I made this cake this year for my 13th birthday. It was a moist, triple-layer chocolate cake with a chocolate buttercream crumb coat to create a naked cake effect, with a chocolate drip. I then finished it off with sugar hearts.
Top tip
Ensure the buttercream is not too thick for the crumb coat otherwise it won't spread easily.
