About this Bake
Salvaging a "pile" of delicious Victoria sponge from the base of the oven, this was my only inspiration in a hurried rescue of my teenage daughter's birthday cake! Chocolate ganache piped in a spiral to the "un"-desired effect!
Top tip
When removing cake from oven, don't let cake slide off the baking tray and land upside down on the bottom of the oven! But if such an accident occurs, all is not lost!
