About this Bake
This panda family cake is for my daughter Melody's 11th birthday party. It's made with chocolate Victoria sponge, vanilla buttercream icing and fondant. It's my first ever attempt at a fondant animal character.
Top tip
If travelling with birthday cake, putting a ribbon around the cake can hold everything in place to stop any slippages.
