About this Bake

This was produced by my son-in-law, Marc, for our grandson's 3rd birthday. When Max was born I had dreams of producing wonderful themed cakes for his birthday. However, I think his Dad is doing a great job, so I won't be competing with him.

Top tip

Bake a chocolate sponge and carve it into a Paddington face, then use fondant icing for the hat and coat and coloured buttercream icing for the fur. Keep referring to the Paddington picture at all times!
