About this Bake
I made this cake for my niece. It's all edible apart from the candles. It's round vanilla sponge with raspberry jam and vanilla buttercream. The turrets are Swiss roll and ice cream cones. The shells are fondant icing; sand is digestive, milk and shortbread biscuit.
Top tip
Make sure the butter cream doesn't dry as the biscuit sand is hard to attach! Make each bit separately and then assemble the cake. Makes lots of mess with the biscuit sand!
