About this Bake
This cake is made from three layers of tall and soft sponge cake, covered with vanilla-flavoured cream with strawberry pieces and crunchy almonds. Externally, it is covered with vanilla whipped cream, caramelised almond grains and strawberries glazed with dark chocolate as decoration.
Top tip
To have a tall and soft sponge cake, you need to add milk to the egg whites and gently incorporate the flour. Baking the sponge cake takes about 40 minutes.
