About this Bake
My boyfriend Ben's 27th birthday was approaching, and, as he's been surfing for most of his life, I decided to recreate Ben surfing in cake form! The cake consisted of three layers: apple cake, blueberry and lemon cake, and a basic vanilla sponge to create the shape of the wave.
Top tip
Try to keep your fondant as thin as possible. It's just so sickly!
