About this Bake

A 21st surprise cake for my eldest, Owen, which had to travel for 150 miles! Chocolate sponge base and a lemon sponge top, covered with buttercream and then a layer of fondant for the decoration. Hand painted lettering and icing Ivy.

Top tip

Procrastinate less, plan more! Take good photos! I always end up winging it and knew I could’ve done better, then forget to take decent photos!
