About this Bake

I made a shrimp cake for my sister's 15th birthday, inspired by her joint loves of her pet shrimps and strawberry laces! She keeps cherry red shrimps in a tank along with fish and snails. I had lots of fun bringing this shrimp to life in cake form!

Top tip

Just to be clear, the cake is a classic vanilla sponge and not in any way fishy!
