I didn't make the jam as I already had some raspberry jam I'd made over the summer. Not freshly made, but definitely better than store-bought!

Top tip

Not a tip so much as a comment - I made the sponge twice (the second time with brand-new baking powder) and the cakes dipped a bit in the centre both times. Not sure what I did wrong. They tasted just fine though!
