About this Bake
Portuguese egg custard tarts made from puff pastry and a cinnamon custard that's fairly easy to make. Not the most elegant looking tarts, but solid on the outside and oozing custard underneath with flaking, melt in your mouth pastry. Delicious!
Top tip
A cinnamon stick and a teaspoon of vanilla essence give the custard a lovely flavour. Don't over whisk the custard!
