About this Bake
Another bake on television this week that inspired me to try it. Tom Kerridge's chocolate & ale cake with muscovado malt cream was a little weekend treat for my husband... but the children liked it too.
Top tip
Mix/crush the muscovado sugar before adding it to the cream & malt to disperse any lumps thus resulting in a smooth cream. I omitted the chocolate icing & served with the flavoured cream as the cake is quite rich.
