About this Bake
Cannelés are a 17th century recipe. I make them every weekend. It started off as a dare! Needs watching while cooking (at least one hour) so they are beautifully caramelised on the outside and lovely and soft within.
Top tip
You must make the batter, using full cream milk, 24 hours beforehand, overnight in the fridge.
